ALL SOULS DAY

It is a tradition among Filipinos to visit the cemetery on this day.
People start going their loved one's haven on the 31st of October.
Some are avoiding traffic and some avoids crowded and congested places.
It is a holiday in the Philippines and workers are given time to go to their respective hometowns to commemorate this day with families and relatives.
In my case, we usually go there on the 2nd day of November.
With food and toys and gameboards in case we'd feel bored there.
My mom told me before that November 1st is for the saints and November 2nd is for the souls.
Last November 1 was a Saturday, I convinced my mom and siblings to go to the cemetery because I don't want to feel so exhausted if we'd go there the following day.
We were so happy because we brought my dad's 3 grandchildren- Shaine,Elisha and Paris.
We only stayed there for an hour and a half because of the weather.
It was a cloudy day and we were afraid that it might rain and there were children with us.
A niece came along, too.
At home, my mom prepared glutinous rice and a special kind of noodles for the family.
I was hoping my sister in Japan will call but she didn't.
