SUPREMOSOFT: Integra Payroll Sytem

We had been engaged in a business wherein my hubby, DAN, could perfectly deal with his clients , had mastered his craft and excelled on it until he came across with this company that made him reach the boiling point.
My husband created a DOS based payroll software back in late 80's. A big number of companies, especially a chain of restaurant is currently using the program until now, but still it's in DOS base.
He had been finding ways on how to convert it windows. He met a lot programmers, did his own research because he thought , he'd upgrade the system himself. Unfortunately, he lacks time due to several engagement and other stuff.
At first he thought it was the perfect answer to his long search for a payroll program.
Integra Payroll Master was really good unless you go deeper into the details.
He met Alvin from Supremosoft, Supremosoft is the company in the Philippines authorized to sell the product.
They had an agreement , bundles/packages , I believe, but there were catches.
1. Distributorship- Release of post dated checks amounting to more or less 200 Thousand pesos with 60 boxes of the Integra Payroll System.
2. Integra Payroll System , the product itself have some problems that they can't and don't want to change. I don't know why.
3. The support system is really SLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW I tell you. They will show their support after a week or two so you have to be patient.
4. Registering your newly purchased Integra Payroll System will take long, probably weeks or more.
And they don't have an explanation to this.
With these problems at hand, Dan decided to cease the distribution and talked to a certain ALVIN about the payroll's problems and was not able to resolve it with so was determined to return the boxes we have and he requested for the checks not to be deposited by their company but to no avail they still deposited the checks. Fortunately, Dan called the bank for stop payment
They just want to have to clients but they don't know how to take care of their clients and listen and answer what they need to know.
Dan is also promoting and a distributor of an accounting system from Sage, the Peachtree Accounting but he hasn't encountered such problems.
The only problem though was placing orders of the product in the US, shipping and charges in the customs.
We will soon be posting company names, including their contact numbers, who had purchased the Integra Payroll System and that are complaining and was disappointed.
Just to let you know that this is not just a JOKE.
We'll be posting more soon... (:=(

Facial Creme de Banana

I am getting old. Yes, we are all getting old but if there is a way to delay it , whether artificial or it maybe natural, we should do something to impede the manifestation of aging. Okay, what am I saying is WRINKLES. It is inevitable.
This recipe is for supple skin as well as maintaining the skin's natural glow. Banana is also wonderful as an anti-wrinkle treatment.
You will need:

Ripe Banana

Procedure:
Mash 1/4 banana until very creamy. Spread all over your face and leave for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water followed by a dash of cold water. Then gently pat dry.

High Heels...Glide on!

Parties!Parties! It's December so we are all going to have parties to attend...So better prepare your dress and high heels..
There are benefits to wearing high heels aside from correctly matching your outfits. High heels also make you look taller (obviously), and make your legs look slimmer and longer.
Here are secrets that are guaranteed to help you sashay like a beauty queen even if you are wearing a trailing long dress and four inch heels. These secrets are enumerated below:
Make sure that the shoes you are buying fit you properly and are shoes that you are comfortable wearing and walking in. Do not force yourself to wear shoes that are too high for you. If you really think that you can only manage two-inch heels, then stick to two-inch heels. Also, before you pay for the shoes you are thinking of buying, try to walk in them inside the store.
Practice walking in your new high heels. Not only will you get used to prancing and gliding in your shoes, but it will also break your shoes in and make them more comfortable for you to wear.
Walk properly. When wearing high heels, you should walk by pointing your toes straight ahead instead of the side. Then, complete the step by setting your heel down. Keep your legs close together and swing your arms, right arm as you step with your left foot and left arm as you step with your right foot, to keep your body balanced. In addition, look straight ahead of you so you would be able to see ahead the spots on the floor or the ground where you could trip and fall.
If you are wearing a long skirt that has a hem that the heels of your shoes can catch, practice walking in such a way that you subtly kick your skirt away from your shoe with your knees. Kicking the skirt discreetly would prevent you from tripping over the fabric.
Maintain a serene appearance in the face of embarrassment. Accidents happen, whether you like it or not. But if you are see one on the verge of happening, like your dress catching on your heel, try to remain calm and smiling as you try to kick the fabric away from your shoe. It only becomes embarrassing when you make it look embarrassing.
Try to take off your heeled shoes whenever you can. Lets face it. Heeled shoes make your legs longer, slimmer and prettier, but they can cause long-term damage to your legs and feet. If you are just sitting down on your desk at work, remove your heels and let your feet rest. Take them off when driving and wear driving shoes instead. Just let your feet rest whenever possible.

CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

A shout out of a friend of mine said 'Happy New Year!' and I asked her right away why is she in a hurry.
We should be looking forward to Christmas first. We don't have Christmas in our religion, remember? she said.
Oh...if that's the case why was it that she used to celebrate Christmas with us before?
Alright, we have to respect each others beliefs and religion.
So, I just kept it to myself and a liitle dismayed with what I've heard from her.
For some, the 25th of December is just an ordinary one-day holiday.
But for most of us, especially kids, it's a big day worth celebrating!
Gifts, giveaways, foods, reunions, parties and shopping are things and activities that makes
us hustle and be occupied during this season.
Sad to say, there is no white Christmas here but thanks to people that are creative enough to put up amusement
parks that can make us experience a cold and snowy-like place that kids as well as adults love to visit.
The most important of all is the real reason why we are celebrating this very speacial day.
More than anything else, it is the birth of Jesus we are commemorating and we express that in thousand ways
that we're not suppose to do on Christmas day itself but all year round!
I hope everybody will have a very meaningful CHRISTMAS!
Merry Christmas to all!

Wear a Belt Glam Up Your Outfit

You're all set to go out and hit the town, but feel something is missing in your outfit of choice for the day. Whether day or night, belts have exploded this season as a way to add that extra something to your everyday attire.
1= First, you have to buy a black one, a brown one, a gray one and a funky colored one. Get a really thick one, a medium sized one and a super skinny belt. You don't have to spend a lot of money, as many clothing stores have them reasonably priced. If you don't want to spend any money, rummage through your closet and find a few belts you haven't worn in a few years. Brush the dust off them and get ready to style!
2= Take a look at some of the clothes in your closet. Sweaters especially, can seem worn out or out of season after one cold winter. Thinking about throwing them away? Don't! It's time to pull out some of your old sweaters for a "reinvention session".
3= A mid-waist belt takes this average purple Forever 21 sweater and brings it up 5 notches with a fun, youthful look, that goes with any bottom; from a pair of dress slacks to a skirt to jeans and flats With either a pair of leggings or jeans, throw on your old sweater or shirt. Now, take one of the belts - of course, making sure the color matches - and, instead of looping through your jeans or tying around your waist, buckle the belt around your midsection, or directly under your breasts.
4=If you're biggest problem area is your tummy, using a thick belt for your mid-waist slims out your stomach, giving you a smooth hour glass figure. If you're on the thin side, a thicker belt may swallow your torso, so opting for a thinner belt, like the one pictured below from Forever 21 will add detail to your waist, without taking away from your body type.
5=This look works in all environments; dress up your basic business attire with a funky, chunky belt that'll have your co-workers wondering, "how'd she do that?" and "where'd her waist go?" Throw a fun belt on when you're heading out on the town with your girlfriends, to spice up your normal black tube top, jeans and heels routine. With any look, the belt idea brings a sense of trend and style to anything you wear, even those old worn out sweaters!

PAYROLL MISTAKES

I have been employed in a company for almost 3 years now and also worked over-time for a year and so sad to say that I got fed-up with the payroll system.
During one-year OT ,there is ALWAYS a mistake with my pay! Unbelievable but true.
It is not about over-paying me but underpaying me and I hate it!
Finally, I decided to make their life easy. Easier for them to calculate my pay and so I quitted OT.
My two immediate supervisors knew that it was the reason I stopped but then I gave a different reason to the managers.
I hope there will still be a change in the system..(I am keeping my fingers crossed)

Top 10 Payroll Mistakes:
1. Missing deadlines.
2. Misclassifying workers. Because of the growing number of temporary employees, consultants, and other independent contractors, it is essential that you properly determine the classification of everyone working for your company so you can determine how to report payroll information for tax purposes.
3. Neglecting to send 1099s.
4. Poor record keeping and data entry. .
5. Not properly handling garnishments, levies, or child support.
6. Miscalculating overtime pay.
7. Leaving too much responsibility to the software program.
8. Not saving payroll records.
9. Not maintaining confidentiality.
10. Not having adequate backup.
