It is September 8...and it's The Blessed Virgin Mary's birthday today!
For most Catholic people, they 've paid respect already by attending or hearing the mass or did some good deeds I guess..
My child goes to a Catholic school so they are always updated with whatever church events there are.
For today, they have their weekly mass held at school and gave slippers as their offerings.

A Salute to a Great Leader

It's a holiday in the Philippines today.
It is to give respect to the late INC (Iglesia ni Cristo) Executive Minister, Bro. Eraño "Ka Erdy" G. Manalo as he is going to be laid to rest.
He is a good man and we deeply extend our condolences to the family and to the whole INC community.
